True Divine Community Development Inc., (TDCD) was founded on May 8, 2001 as an outreach ministry with the sole purpose of providing services, resources and affordable housing within the local community.

G.A.M. E. Time – TDCD’s youth leadership mentoring program targets youths between the ages of 6 – 18 years old. G.A.M.E. Time’s objective is to Guide, Acknowledge, Mentor, and Equip area youth to become future leaders through a variety of creative and innovative instructional and team-building events that engage their mental and physical capacities. This objective is obtained through guest speakers, interactive/reactive exercises, field trips, group discussions and an annual summer leadership camp.

True Divine Community Senior Center – Four days a week TDCD, in partnership with the Central Alabama Aging Consortium, provides hot nutritious meals, social, mental, physical activities, movie day, community based senior outings, devotions and more to senior’s ages 60+ years old.

Feeding Hands Backpack Program – provides a weekend supply of nutritious food (over 4,800 meals monthly) to area children who have been identified by school officials as having food insecurity (unable to consistently access an adequate amount of nutritious food necessary for a healthy life).

Feeding Hands Backpack 5K Run/Walk – The 5k is held on the 2nd Saturday in November.  The event serves as a major fundraiser for the backpack program and also provides TDCD an opportunity to increase the awareness of food insecurity in the local community.

Seeds of Plenty Community Garden – The garden will serve as an intergenerational teaching/education tool for those who live in the local community. The garden is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015.

Paw Pal Reading Club – operates in partnership with Brewbaker Primary School/PTA and Smoothie King to foster the following goals through the use of reading mentors to children in grades kindergarten – second grade:
